The Bourne Braves (2-1) didn't put up much of a fight on Thursday, as the Hyannis Harbor Hawks (3-0) cruised to a blowout 10-3 win at McKeon Park.

A two-run home run by Corey Bird delivered the runs in the seventh. The Hyannis Harbor Hawks had one hit in the inning.

Bird racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks.

CJ Chatham had a hot bat for the Bourne Braves. Chatham went 3-5 and scored one run. He singled in the fourth, sixth, and ninth innings.

Devin Smeltzer got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed three runs over six innings. He struck out four, walked none and surrendered nine hits.

Nick Jensen-Clagg (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked four, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
