Pitchers had a tough day during the game between the St. Joseph Mustangs (2-1) and the Lake Erie Monarchs (1-2), as the two teams put up 18 runs combined in a 10-8 the St. Joseph Mustangs win.

Ramsey Scott racked up three RBIs on four hits for the St. Joseph Mustangs. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the third and fifth innings.

Ross Haffey racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Lake Erie Monarchs. He homered in the sixth inning.

Miles Gully improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the St. Joseph Mustangs. He allowed four runs over 5 2/3 innings. He struck out three, walked two and surrendered three hits.

Brett Streubing (0-1) took the loss for the Lake Erie Monarchs. He allowed eight runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked five and struck out two.
