Bergdahl allows no runs to lead the Columbia Basin past the Spokane 10-0

Story by Narrative Science.

Austin Bergdahl held the Spokane (18-12) scoreless for six innings to boost the Columbia Basin (23-9) to a 10-0 victory.

Bergdahl allowed two hits, five walks and struck out eight.

Michael Wyatt blasted two home runs for the Columbia Basin. Wyatt went 2-3 in the game with four RBIs and three runs scored. Wyatt homered in the first, first, and fourth innings.

Six runs in the first three innings helped the Columbia Basin blow out the Spokane. An RBI single by Spencer Bennion, a solo home run by Wyatt, and a two-run home run by Wyatt in the first inning and an error and a wild pitch during the second inning fueled the Columbia Basin's offense early.

Mitch Guiberson was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed five runs.
