The Columbia Basin (17-6) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 4-1 to the Blue Mountain (9-12) on Saturday.
While the Columbia Basin led until the sixth inning, the Blue Mountain worked their way back and took the lead on a three-run double by Trevor Oldham.
Tyson Wicklander picked up the win for the Blue Mountain. Wicklander allowed one earned run, 10 hits and two walks while striking out one over nine innings of work.
Tanner Simpson ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just nine innings, walked two, struck out 10, and allowed four runs.
