Parker's walk-off single send the Yakima Valley home winners, 5-4

A walk-off single from Tanner Parker brought home the winning run for the Yakima Valley (16-8) in a 5-4 victory over the Columbia Basin in 10 innings at Parker Field on Wednesday.

Parker was solid at the plate for the Yakima Valley. Parker went 3-6, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the third, fifth, and tenth innings.

The Columbia Basin (17-5) couldn't get anything going as long as Parker Depasquale was pitching. The Columbia Basin managed just two hits off of Depasquale, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his three innings of work.

Karver Pate (4-1) took the loss for the Columbia Basin. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed one run.
