An outstanding effort by Austin Bergdahl carried the Columbia Basin (4-0) to a 6-3 win over the Prairie Baseball Academy on Saturday at Columbia Basin Baseball Field.

Bergdahl kept the Prairie Baseball Academy off the board during his seven innings of work. Bergdahl allowed three hits, two walks and struck out seven.

Zack Chamberlain paced the Columbia Basin at the plate. Chamberlain went 3-4 and scored one run. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the third and eighth innings.

Db had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the first and eighth innings.

Karver Pate recorded his second win of the year for the Columbia Basin. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered one hit.

Jr took the loss for the Prairie Baseball Academy. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
