J.T. Baksha held the Terre Haute Rex (41-15) scoreless for six innings to boost the Quincy Gems (26-30) to a 4-3 victory.

Baksha struck out five and allowed two walks and five hits.

Aaron Meyer reached base three times in the game for the Quincy Gems. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the fifth inning.

It was a good day at the plate for the Terre Haute Rex's Andy De Jesus. De Jesus went 3-5 and scored two runs. He singled in the third, eighth, and ninth innings.

Jordan Tackett (4-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
