A seven-run explosion in the sixth inning spurred the Nevada Big Horns (21-21) to a 10-3 win in seven innings over the West Coast Kings at Golden Eagle Park on Wednesday.
The Nevada Big Horns scored in the sixth on an RBI double by Billy King, a two-run double by Jake Chambers, a two-run double by Dan Busch, an RBI single by Daniel Page, and an RBI single by King.
King racked up three RBIs on four hits for the Nevada Big Horns.
Thomas Sertic brought the heat against the West Coast Kings during his outing. Sertic gave up just two hits, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his 2 2/3 innings of work.
Ben Hogan ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed 10 runs in six innings, walked five and struck out four.
