Two pitchers joined forces to throw a no-hitter for the Qu��bec one (3-0) in a 21-0 victory in four innings over the Newfoundland (0-3) on Saturday at Stade Arvida.
Bridget Kelly and Karine Lafontaine tallied no strikeouts and walked none in completing the no-no.The biggest inning for the Qu��bec one was the first. Kelly improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Qu��bec one. He struck out three, walked none and surrendered no hits.
Kaitlyn Harris (0-1) took the loss for the Newfoundland. He allowed six runs in zero innings, walked three and struck out none.
The Qu��bec one pounded the Newfoundland pitching, as six hitters combined for 15 hits, 12 RBIs and 18 runs scored.
