The British Columbia (1-1) had a tough outing on Friday, as the Ontario (2-0) dominated in a 14-4 win in five innings at Stade Arvida.

The British Columbia couldn't get anything going as long as Flannigan was pitching. The British Columbia managed just one hit off of the the Ontario's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one during his 2 1/3 innings of work.

Jessie McKay went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for the British Columbia. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the third and fifth innings.

Caitlin Tomotsugu improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Ontario. He allowed four runs over 2 2/3 innings. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered four hits.

Allison Schroder (0-1) took the loss for the British Columbia. He lasted just two innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed three runs.

The Ontario hammered the British Columbia pitching as six hitters had a field day, combining for nine hits, seven RBIs and 11 runs scored.
