An eight-run explosion in the seventh inning led the Sacramento Legends to a 13-3 win in seven innings over the South Bay Storm at CSU East Bay on Sunday.

The Sacramento Legends scored in the seventh on an RBI single by Alex Gaskin, an RBI double by Tim Hall, an error, a two-run single by Jorge Perez, a two-run error, and an RBI single by Alex Muzzi.

Hall had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits.

Cisneros recorded his first win of the year for the Sacramento Legends. He allowed three runs over seven innings. He struck out two, walked four and surrendered six hits.

Jake Mellenthin (4-3) took the loss for the South Bay Storm (14-25). He lasted just three innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed two runs.

Perez, Matt Caselli, Hall and Muzzi helped lead the Sacramento Legends. They combined for 11 hits and five RBIs.
