Thomas Ahlstrom went 2-3, helping the Chemeketa (25-17) to an 8-5 victory over the Lane (28-10) on Friday at Chemeketa Baseball Stadium.

Jacob Asa put together a nice outing. Asa held the Lane hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

Kris Jackson recorded his fourth win for the Chemeketa even though he allowed five runs over five innings. He struck out four, walked three and surrendered seven hits.

Landen Bourassa was charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out one.
