An ace performance by Kyle Keith carried the Lane (11-4) to a 1-0 win over the Linn-Benton (10-7) on Friday at Titan Field .

Keith held the Linn-Benton scoreless for seven innings. Keith struck out six and allowed no walks and two hits.

Ben Giland delivered a big hit off the bench in the four.. His pinch-hit single was the key moment in the Lane's one-run win.

With the game scoreless in the fourth inning Giland came to the plate and singled.

Ian Scott ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked four, struck out three, and allowed one run.
