William Lacroix was cold coming off the bench, but Lacroix warmed up quickly as Lacroix stroked a key pinch-hit single in the one to lead the Host (Lanaudi��re (3-1) to a 4-2 win over the British Columbia (3-1) on Saturday at Parc Laverdiere one.

With the game scoreless in the first inning Lacroix came to the plate and singled, bringing home Emilien Pitre.

Lacroix racked up eight strikeouts in the the Host (Lanaudi��re win. Lacroix allowed two earned runs on three hits and three walks over 6 2/3 innings.

Carlin Dick got on base two times in the game for the British Columbia. He tripled in the sixth inning.

Kenneth Sugi was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
