A superb effort by Kai Sands led the Coquitlam-Moody (Host (5-0) to a 10-0 win in six innings over the St. James (MB1 (1-3) on Thursday at Town Centre Field one.

Sands hit two home runs for the Coquitlam-Moody (Host. Sands went 4-4 in the game with three RBIs and four runs scored. Sands homered in the first and sixth innings.

The Coquitlam-Moody (Host blew out the St. James (MB1 thanks to 15 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Coquitlam-Moody (Host scored five runs in the sixth on the Coquitlam-Moody (Host scored in the sixth on an RBI single by Kent Johnson, an RBI single by Kenneth Sugi, a two-run home run by Sands, and an RBI single by Jamisen Walsh.

Carlin Dick pitched lights out for the Coquitlam-Moody (Host. Dick held the St. James (MB1 hitless over four innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out 11.

Tyler Smith couldn't get it done on the rubber for the St. James (MB1, taking a loss. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
