The West Coast Kings jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 4-1 to the San Francisco Seagulls (14-9) on Wednesday.
While the West Coast Kings led until the seventh inning, the San Francisco Seagulls worked their way back and took the lead on a sacrifice fly by Nick McGrew.
Josh Greenberg picked up the win for the San Francisco Seagulls. Greenberg pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, four hits and four walks while striking out four.
The San Francisco Seagulls had no answer for Harry Cock, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The San Francisco Seagulls managed just three hits off of Cock, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his four innings of work.
Art Lee (0-2) took the loss for the West Coast Kings. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
