A walk-off single from Shamil Ubiera brought home the winning run for the White Sands Pupfish (26-16) in a 5-4 victory over the Garden City Wind in 10 innings on Tuesday.

Ubiera paced the White Sands Pupfish at the plate. Ubiera went 1-4 and drove in one. He singled in the tenth inning.

Aaron Nardone racked up three RBIs on two hits for the White Sands Pupfish. He singled in the third inning and homered in the ninth inning.

Alex Embler put together a nice outing. Embler held the Garden City Wind (10-32) hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Joe McCarty improved to 4-1 on the year by picking up the win for the White Sands Pupfish. McCarty struck out none, walked none and gave up one hit.

Brandon Hudson (1-4) took the loss for the Garden City Wind. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
