Dom Ferrando collected three hits, sparking the San Mateo Rounders to a 5-4 victory over the San Francisco Seagulls (16-11) on Wednesday at De Anza College.

The San Mateo Rounders relied on Joe Marucuci to eat up innings en route to the win. Marucuci allowed three earned runs, seven hits and two walks while striking out one over nine innings of work.

Ismael Orozco racked up two RBIs on three hits for the San Francisco Seagulls. He singled in the first and fourth innings.

Michael Sweeney (0-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
