He singled in the first inning and homered in the third inning.The Wareham Gatemen had no answer for Thomas Hackimer, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Hackimer held the Wareham Gatemen hitless over 1 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.
Nick Cieri racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Wareham Gatemen. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings.
Trent Paddon recorded his first win of the year for the Brewster Whitecaps. He allowed one run over 1 2/3 innings. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered two hits.
