The Harwich Mariners (14-19) beat the Cotuit Kettleers (13-21) 6-1 in seven innings on Monday at Lowell Park behind Adam Pate, who went 3-3 at the plate.

Hunter Williams brought the heat against the Cotuit Kettleers during his outing. Williams gave up just three hits, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out five during his five innings of work.

Michael Paez got on base three times in the game for the Cotuit Kettleers. He singled in the first inning.

Nick Eicholtz ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out five, and allowed three runs.
