Three first-inning runs helped the Lake Erie Crushers (28-36) to a 5-1 win over the Rockford Aviators (39-28) at All Pro Freight on Tuesday.

A three-run double by Boo Vazquez delivered the runs in the first. The Lake Erie Crushers had three hits in the inning.

Jose Barraza racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Lake Erie Crushers. He homered in the fifth inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Zach Morton pitched lights out for the Lake Erie Crushers. The Rockford Aviators managed just two hits off of the the Lake Erie Crushers' pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked one and struck out two during his five innings of work.

Tony Rizzotti couldn't get it done on the bump for the Rockford Aviators, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out seven, and allowed five runs.
