The South Bay Storm (2-5) beat the Neptune Beach Pearl 2-1 on Saturday at Laney College behind Dominic Orlando, who collected three hits.

The Neptune Beach Pearl couldn't get anything going so long as Jake Mellenthin was on the hill. The Neptune Beach Pearl managed just one hit off of the the South Bay Storm's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his three innings of work.

Myles Babitt led the Neptune Beach Pearl's offensive threat, as he got on base two times in the game. He also drove in one runner. He tripled in the fourth inning.

Tyler Cobb had an impressive outing against the South Bay Storm's lineup. Cobb gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his two innings of work.

Noah Villegas was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked two, struck out one, and allowed one run.
