The Moose Jaw Miller Express outlast the Regina Red Sox in extras, 8-5

The Moose Jaw Miller Express (15-22) took home a marathon 8-5 victory over the Regina Red Sox (14-21) on Tuesday at Currie Field.

With the score tied at five in the tenth inning,, scoring Jeremy Stidham.

The Moose Jaw Miller Express were led by Derek Cornell's hitting. Cornell went 3-5, drove in one and scored three runs. He doubled in the ninth inning and singled in the fourth and tenth innings.

Tanner Spencer had an impressive outing against the Regina Red Sox's lineup. The Regina Red Sox managed just three hits off of Spencer, who allowed two earned runs, walked two and struck out seven during his six innings of work.

Gabe Snyder racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Regina Red Sox. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Paul McMahon improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Moose Jaw Miller Express. McMahon struck out none, walked none and gave up three hits.

Jeremy Sylvester was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
