The Swift Current Indians (9-18) took home a marathon 4-3 victory over the Moose Jaw Miller Express (11-17) on Sunday at Ross Wells Park.

With the Moose Jaw Miller Express trailing by one in the ninth inning, Marvin Malone came to the plate and singled, scoring Derek Cornell.

Nate Ackerman led the Swift Current Indians' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He homered in the second inning and singled in the third inning.

AJ McEldberry got the win, running his season record to 2-2. He allowed one run over four innings. McEldberry struck out three, walked two and gave up three hits.

Tanner McAninch ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
