The Swift Current Indians beat up on the Edmonton Prospects, 16-5

The Swift Current Indians (5-11) continued to pile up the runs on Sunday, scoring four runs in the last three innings, en route to an easy 16-5 win over the Edmonton Prospects (7-8) at Telus Field.

The Swift Current Indians scored six runs in the fourth on the Swift Current Indians scored in the fourth on an RBI single by Kevin Bettencourt, a three-run home run by Darren Kolk, and a two-run triple by Nate Ackerman.

Kolk racked up seven RBIs on four hits for the Swift Current Indians.

Justin Disbro recorded the win for the Swift Current Indians. He allowed three runs over six innings. Disbro struck out three, walked three and gave up seven hits.

Kent Hasler was charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked three and struck out none.

The Swift Current Indians easily handled the Edmonton Prospects pitching as six hitters combined for 15 hits, 14 RBIs and 13 runs scored.
