Michael Slifer hopes every outing could go as well as Sunday, as Slifer threw seven scoreless innings to carry the Top Speed Baseball (18-4) to a 7-5 victory over the OC Riptide at Vanguard University in 14 innings.
Matt Martinez racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Top Speed Baseball. He singled in the third and fifth innings and homered in the seventh inning.
Rizguey was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in 14 innings, walked seven and struck out seven.
