Colin Forgey had two extra base hits, sparking the Alpine Cowboys (38-26) to a 7-3 victory over the White Sands Pupfish (37-26) on Thursday at Griggs Park.

Michael Fitzwater got the win for the Alpine Cowboys thanks to nine strikeouts. Fitzwater allowed two earned runs on six hits and three walks over six innings.

Aaron Nardone had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He homered in the first inning, doubled in the fourth inning, and singled in the seventh inning.

Ian Drapcho had an impressive outing against the Alpine Cowboys' lineup. The Alpine Cowboys managed just two hits off of Drapcho, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his 2 1/3 innings of work.

Demetrus Ingram (4-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked three and struck out four.

Matt Henriksen, Derrick Fox and Forgey helped lead the Alpine Cowboys. They combined for seven hits and four RBIs.
