The Alpine Cowboys cruise past the Trinidad Triggers, 12-6

The Trinidad Triggers (20-12) had a tough outing on Monday, as the Alpine Cowboys (20-13) dominated in a 12-6 win at Central Park.

The Alpine Cowboys scored five runs in the sixth on the Alpine Cowboys scored in the sixth on a two-run home run by Robert Zaragoza, , and a two-run single by Derrick Fox.

Jarret Young got on base four times in the game for the Alpine Cowboys. He singled in the second and fifth innings and doubled in the sixth inning.

Eric Williams racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Trinidad Triggers. He homered in the sixth inning and singled in the third and seventh innings.

Matt Horan was charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed nine runs in five innings, walked one and struck out four.
