Bryson stars as the Trinidad Triggers defeat the Las Vegas Train Robbers, 16-2

An exceptional effort by Caleb Bryson lifted the Trinidad Triggers (37-15) to a 16-2 win over the Las Vegas Train Robbers (21-30) on Monday at Central Park.

Bryson hit two home runs for the Trinidad Triggers. Bryson went 3-4 in the game with three RBIs and three runs scored. Bryson homered in the first, third, and eighth innings.

The Trinidad Triggers continued to pile on the runs until the end of the game. The Trinidad Triggers scored seven runs in the final three innings to cap the blowout win. The Trinidad Triggers scored seven runs in the eighth on the Trinidad Triggers scored in the eighth on a single by Trevor Sealey, a three-run home run by Shane Casey, a solo home run by Bryson, and a two-run error.

Christian Schneider picked up the win for the Trinidad Triggers. Schneider allowed two earned runs, seven hits and two walks while striking out four over eight innings of work.

Tyler Shannon was solid at the plate for the Las Vegas Train Robbers. Shannon went 2-4 and drove in one. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the eighth innings.

Kyer Vega ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
