Jake Swartout was cold coming off the bench, but Swartout warmed up quickly as Swartout stroked a key pinch-hit solo home run in the nine to lead the Trinidad Triggers (7-1) to a 6-5 win over the Garden City Wind (2-8) on Tuesday at Clint Lightner.

With the Trinidad Triggers trailing by one, Swartout came to the plate and homered.

Trevor Sealy racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Trinidad Triggers. He singled in the eighth innings.

Jeffery Neptune got it done on the rubber on the way to a win. He tossed 1 1/3 innings of shutout ball. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered one hit.
