The West Palm Beach Eagles (8-10) had a tough outing on Thursday, as the Pompano Beach Clippers (17-2) dominated in a 9-3 win at Santaluces.

And a three-run triple by Mitch Reeves helped the Pompano Beach Clippers score four runs in the fifth. The Pompano Beach Clippers had four hits in the inning.

The Pompano Beach Clippers were led by Evan Dougherty's hitting. Dougherty went 3-5 and scored one run. He singled in the fourth, seventh, and ninth innings.

Sean Horner struck out four hitters en route to the the Pompano Beach Clippers win. The Pompano Beach Clippers' pitcher gave up just four hits over five shutout innings.

Ben Stine was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
