Jacobs racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Florida Pokers.

A bright spot for the Coral Springs Royals in the defeat was Ben Welch, who allowed only two runs while striking out six.

Jonathan Gonzalez improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Florida Pokers. He allowed two runs over four innings. Gonzalez struck out four, walked three and gave up two hits.

Stuart Spiers was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
