Both the Phipps Park Barracudas (4-4) and the Florida Pokers (0-2) put runners aboard on Monday, but it was the Phipps Park Barracudas that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 5-4 win at Forrest Hill H.S.

Anthony Hotujec brought the heat against the Florida Pokers during his outing. The Florida Pokers managed just one hit off of Hotujec, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his three innings of work.

The Florida Pokers were led by Danny Diaz's hitting. Diaz went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the second inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Trey Fitzgerald got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed one run over two innings. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered three hits.
