Alex Cabrera went 2-2, helping the Delray Beach Lightning (10-10) to a 4-0 victory over the Phipps Park Barracudas (9-6) on Tuesday at Miller Park.
He singled in the second and fifth innings.Peter Castillo put together a nice outing. The Phipps Park Barracudas managed just one hit off of Castillo, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out eight during his four innings of work.
A bright spot for the Phipps Park Barracudas in the defeat was Raymond Catena, who allowed only one run while striking out five.
Patrick Hueller got the win, running his season record to 2-0. Hueller struck out seven, walked one and gave up four hits.
Anthony Hotujec was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed one run.
