Mike Abate went 2-2, helping the Palm Beach Blazers (8-11) to a 2-0 victory over the Delray Beach Lightning (9-10) on Monday at Miller Park.

Bobby Patterson had an impressive outing against the Delray Beach Lightning's lineup. The Delray Beach Lightning managed just one hit off of the the Palm Beach Blazers' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his five innings of work.

Chris Jordan (1-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
