The Pompano Beach Clippers (14-2) and the Coral Springs Royals (5-10) both had scoring chances on Monday, but it was the Pompano Beach Clippers that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out an 8-5 win at Pompano Beach Park.

Stephen Kerr got on base three times in the game for the Pompano Beach Clippers. He scored three runs and had one RBI. He homered in the first inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Andrew Lysy struck out six hitters en route to the the Pompano Beach Clippers win. Lysy allowed one earned run on four hits and one walk over five innings.

Will Mullen boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 3-3 day at the plate to pace the Coral Springs Royals. He singled in the third, sixth, and ninth innings.

Grant Trower (0-2) took the loss for the Coral Springs Royals. He lasted just two innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
