Alec Dowell went 2-4 as the Palm Beach Xtreme (6-3) took home a 4-3 victory over the West Palm Beach Eagles (4-5) at Spanish River High School on Monday.

Robert Guarnieri had an impressive outing against the West Palm Beach Eagles' lineup. The West Palm Beach Eagles managed just three hits off of the the Palm Beach Xtreme's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his five innings of work.

Carmine Cioffoletti racked up two RBIs on two hits for the West Palm Beach Eagles. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the ninth inning.

Brandon Houk brought the heat against the Palm Beach Xtreme during his outing. The Palm Beach Xtreme managed just one hit off of Houk, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his two innings of work.

Jesse Arnold was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
