A walk-off double from Dixon brought home the winning run for the Sacramento Spikes in a 5-4 victory over the Sacramento Heat (6-8) at Sierra Junior College on Wednesday.

Dixon racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Sacramento Spikes. He singled in the fifth inning and doubled in the third and ninth innings.

The Sacramento Heat were led by Brandon Langan's hitting. Langan went 2-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the third inning and tripled in the seventh inning.

Gomez got the win for the Sacramento Spikes. He pitched one shutout inning. Gomez struck out two, walked one and gave up no hits.

Tristan Prybylinski couldn't get it done on the hill for the Sacramento Heat, taking a loss. He lasted just zero innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
