Justin Hayes racked up five RBIs on three hits for the Elmira Pioneers. He singled in the first, fourth, and seventh innings.

Aaron Smith racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Utica Brewers. He doubled in the first and third innings.

Jared Proctor got the win, running his season record to 3-4. He struck out two, walked two and surrendered two hits.

Alex Core ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
