Adam Ashenfarb held the Victor RailRiders (22-20) scoreless for seven innings to boost the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs (25-17) to a 6-0 victory.

Ashenfarb allowed five hits, three walks and struck out one.

The Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs stamped out any hope for the Victor RailRiders with three runs in the eighth. A three-run home run by Troy Scocca delivered the runs in the eighth. The Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs had three hits in the inning.

Matt Pagano had two extra-base hits for the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs. He singled in the third and sixth innings, doubled in the eighth inning, and tripled in the ninth innings.

Eoin McAvinchey (0-3) took the loss for the Victor RailRiders. He lasted just seven innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
