Will Jahn's eight strikeouts helped the Adirondack Trail Blazers to the victory. Jahn allowed two earned runs, six hits and no walks over seven innings.

Mark Martin had a hot bat for the Newark Pilots. Martin went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the fifth inning and doubled in the seventh inning.
