Dorrian's effort not enough in the Saugerties Stallions' 5-4 loss

The Saugerties Stallions (11-28) lost despite Pat Dorrian's spectacular day from both the mound and the plate.

Dorrian had a hot bat for the Saugerties Stallions. Dorrian went 2-3 and scored two runs. He singled in the second and fourth innings.

Dorrian pitched lights out for the Saugerties Stallions. Dorrian held the Amsterdam Mohawks hitless over 1 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out one.

Aidan McDermott reached base three times in the game for the Amsterdam Mohawks (31-8). He scored one run and had one RBI. He tripled in the second inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Joe Nellis recorded his second win of the year for the Amsterdam Mohawks. He allowed one run over one inning. Nellis struck out three, walked none and gave up two hits.

Matt Wojciak (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked five, struck out five, and allowed five runs.
