Michael Fitzsimmons had two extra base hits, sparking the Albany Dutchmen (15-17) to a 7-6 victory over the Utica Brewers (14-19) on Sunday at Murnane Field.

The Albany Dutchmen relied on Gavin Wallace to eat up innings en route to the win. Wallace allowed three earned runs, six hits and two walks while striking out three over eight innings of work.

Ryan Cox racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Utica Brewers. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the ninth inning.

The Albany Dutchmen couldn't get anything going as long as Krystien Johnson-Batillana was pitching. The Albany Dutchmen managed just one hit off of the the Utica Brewers' pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked none and struck out four during his four innings of work.

Patrick Bellinger (0-2) took the loss for the Utica Brewers. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked one and struck out three.

The Albany Dutchmen were sparked by Fitzsimmons and Zach Remillard, who teamed up for five hits and six RBIs.
