The Adirondack Trail Blazers (10-18) had a tough outing on Tuesday, as the Elmira Pioneers (18-11) dominated in a 16-6 win at Robert Smith Sports Complex .

A three-run triple by Rob Perteet and a two-run home run by Christian Santisteban helped the Elmira Pioneers score five runs in the fourth. The Elmira Pioneers had four hits in the inning.

Perteet racked up seven RBIs on three hits for the Elmira Pioneers.

Jared Proctor struck out seven hitters en route to the the Elmira Pioneers win. The Elmira Pioneers' pitcher gave up just three hits over five shutout innings.

Nick Fanneron racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Adirondack Trail Blazers. He doubled in the seventh inning and singled in the ninth inning.

Tyler Childrose couldn't get it done on the mound for the Adirondack Trail Blazers, taking a loss. He allowed eight runs in four innings, walked two and struck out three.
