A walk-off error from Handsome Monica brought home the winning run for the Amsterdam Mohawks (21-6) in a 5-4 victory over the Newark Pilots (10-13) at Shuttleworth Park on Sunday.

Drew Freedman got on base three times in the game for the Amsterdam Mohawks. He scored one run and had one RBI. He doubled in the fourth innings.

Evy Ruibal handled the Newark Pilots' lineup with ease, racking up seven strikeouts. Ruibal allowed one earned run, four hits and one walk over five innings.

Anthony Romanelli recorded his third win of the year for the Amsterdam Mohawks. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Kevin Berge (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
