The Glens Falls Dragons make the most of 6 hits in 8-4 victory over the Saugerties Stallions

The Glens Falls Dragons (14-11) and the Saugerties Stallions (9-13) both had scoring chances on Thursday, but it was the Glens Falls Dragons that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out an 8-4 win at East Field.

Ryan Hooper racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Glens Falls Dragons. He homered in the second inning and singled in the seventh inning.

The Saugerties Stallions had no answer for Cameron Churchill, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Saugerties Stallions managed just one hit off of Churchill, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out five during his five innings of work.

A bright spot for the Saugerties Stallions in the defeat was Nick Williams, who allowed only two runs while striking out five.

AJ Carkner (2-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
