Friday was a great day for Fernando Guerrero, as Guerrero tossed six scoreless innings to carry the Amsterdam Mohawks (17-4) to a 6-0 victory over the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs (9-11) at Shuttleworth Park.

Riley Mahan delivered a big hit off the bench in the five.. His pinch-hit single was the key moment in the Amsterdam Mohawks' six-run win.

With the Amsterdam Mohawks leading by one, Mahan came to the plate and singled.

Handsome Monica rocked the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs with two home runs. Monica went 2-4 in the game with three RBIs and two runs scored. Monica homered in the fifth and sixth innings.

Adam Ashenfarb (0-2) took the loss for the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
