The Adirondack Trail Blazers outlast the Utica Brewers in high-scoring affair, 10-9

The bats were busy at Murnane Field at Donovan Stadiu on Monday, and when the dust cleared the Adirondack Trail Blazers (8-9) had a 10-9 win over the Utica Brewers (8-10).

The two teams combined for 26 hits in the game.

Matt Brown led the Adirondack Trail Blazers' offensive threat, as he got on base four times in the game. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the sixth and seventh innings.

Ryan Cox went a perfect 5-5 at the plate for the Utica Brewers. He tripled in the second inning and singled in the third, sixth, seventh, and ninth innings.

Joe King improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Adirondack Trail Blazers. King struck out one, walked none and gave up one hit.

Alec Morrison (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
