Saturday was a great day for Fernando Guerrero, as Guerrero tossed six scoreless innings to carry the Amsterdam Mohawks (13-3) to a 9-0 victory over the Albany Dutchmen at Shuttleworth Park.

The Amsterdam Mohawks blew out the Albany Dutchmen (8-7) thanks to 11 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Amsterdam Mohawks scored four runs in the sixth on the Amsterdam Mohawks scored in the sixth on a single by Justin Yurchak, a sacrifice fly by Handsome Monica, a hit by pitch, a single by Craig Dedelow, and an RBI single by Riley Mahan.

Brendan Tracy went a perfect 2-2 at the dish for the Amsterdam Mohawks. He singled in the second inning and homered in the fifth inning.

Jon Reid ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
