Kyano Cummings kept the Newark Pilots (4-4) off the board during his six innings of work and the Elmira Pioneers (7-4) beat the Newark Pilots, 10-3.

Cummings struck out 10 and allowed two walks and three hits.

Santisteban racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Elmira Pioneers.

Nathan Suyematsu (0-1) took the loss for the Newark Pilots. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
